Junior Campers
Our Junior Campers Program is for campers ages 6 and 7, in rising grades 1 and 2*. This traditional day camp for boys and girls offers a wide variety of fun and engaging activities. As a part of the Creative Kids program, the five groups of Junior Campers are located in Holton-Arms' Lower School. Each group has 15 Campers and 3 counselors in a stimulating classroom environment. These mixed-age groups of rising 1st and 2nd grade campers are led by experienced early childhood professionals, college students, and junior counselors,
The pre-set schedule of daily activities includes Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Science Creative Movement, Music, Sports & Games, and a Home-Room activity that varies from day to day. Two options are offered: one includes daily Swim Instruction, one does not include Swim instruction.
To ensure that your Junior Camper is in a class with their buddies, remember to submit a request for your camper to "Camp with a Friend."

They may attend EITHER Junior Campers a contained program located in the Lower School, where the activity schedule is pre-set, OR Creative Campers, the Upper Camp program where each camper selects his/her own activities and travels as an individual from class to class five times each day. Please read the descriptions of both offerings to assist you in selecting the better program for your camper entering second grade in fall 2024.
