Field Hockey Camp
Creative Summer is excited to partner with Beyond Sticks to offer our first ever summer Field Hockey and Games Camp! This camp will be led by Beyond Sticks’ Director of Performance and Operations and our staff of local elementary school teachers.
PLAY BEYOND THE GAME
Field Hockey and Games Camp is much more than a sports camp! Suitable for complete beginners and athletes with some experience, this camp will use games to teach the fundamentals of field hockey and jump right into fun competitions.
We play “beyond the game,” using character-building games and leadership activities to help encourage well-rounded athletes. The best part about playing beyond the game? Players don’t even realize they are learning about team building, goal setting, and communication because they are having too much fun building marshmallow towers, tossing water balloons, or crossing treacherous Gatorade rivers!
Participants leave after a week of camp full of fun memories, with a mini booklet of our Play Beyond the Game lessons, and as stronger players – technically, tactically, and mentally. Campers will also take home a Beyond Sticks reversible pinnie and tie-dye t-shirt.
Creative Summer will offer a single one-week session of Field Hockey and Games Camp for grades 3 to 6.
