Registration

Creative Summer uses CampBrain for all online camp registrations, camp merchandise purchases, bill payments, and access to Account Statements (Summer 2018 to present).

During Registration, families must complete: 

• Household Form - Contact Information for Parents/Guardian (one form per account/family)
• Camper Information Form - basic information such as school, health information, and health waiver (one form per camper)
• Camper Registration Waiver - Camp Policies and Information (one form per camper)

To register, you must provide: 

• Information for an Emergency Contact who is NOT A RESIDENT PARENT of the camper
• Health Insurance Information and Physician Contact Information
• Date of Camper's Most Recent Tetanus Shot
• Camper T-shirt Size

A camp deposit is due at registration, paid per camper and per session, and varies by program as outlined below. Creative Summer accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover; we DO NOT accept American Express. The deposit cannot be paid by check. All deposits become non-refundable three calendar days after registration is submitted.

Day Camp Deposits (3-week sessions)
Creative Kids; Junior Campers; Creative Campers
$150 deposit due at registration

Sports Camp Deposits (1-week sessions)
Tennis
$125 deposit at registration for full week, full day programs
$65 deposit at registration for full week, half day programs

Discovery Camp Deposits (sessions vary)
One-week camps - $75 deposit due at registration
STEAM Camp - $150 deposit due at registration

$25 of the Non-Refundable Deposit is considered an Application Fee. This covers the cost of the Application itself and any Credit Card and Processing fees incurred by your camper's application.

Tuition balances for all programs are due Thursday, April 2, 2026, for registrations received on or before March 27, 2026. Full tuition is due within five (5) days of registration for submissions on or after March 28, 2026.

Creative Summer programs have set capacities in each camp session. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and follows the Priority registration schedule outlined above. If a program fills, we begin a wait-list.

If space becomes available in a program with a wait-list, we contact wait-listed families by phone and email in the order their applications were received. Once an offer of space has been emailed, they have two (2) calendar days to respond. If the deposit and any required forms are not submitted within two days, the space may be offered to the next wait-list family.

Creative Summer reserves the right to stop accepting wait-list applications for any program.

Families wait-listed for Day Camps who do not ultimately register for Creative Summer 2026, even if space is offered, will be eligible to register during a Priority Period for Creative Summer 2027.

Please contact the Creative Summer Office with questions about the wait-list process or to check your child's position on the wait-list.

A camp deposit (varies with program) is due at registration, and the remaining balance is due in full Tuesday, April 2, 2026 for registrations on or before March 27, 2026. 

For registrations submitted on or after March 28, the camp deposit is due at registration and the balance is due within five (5) calendar days.

All tuition for Day Camps becomes non-refundable after Friday, May 1, 2026. 

All tuition for Sports Camps and Discovery Camps becomes non-refundable after Monday, June 1, 2026.

Parents must inform the Creative Summer office in writing (email is acceptable) if they are withdrawing their child from any Creative Summer program. Camp tuition is refunded according to the following schedule:

• Withdrawal within three (3) days of registration:
  • A refund of the full camp deposit will be given. Additional tuition or fees paid in excess of the deposit (if any) will be refunded subject to an Application Fee equal to $25 or three percent (3%) of the total fees paid, whichever is greater.
• Withdrawal four (4) or more days after registration is submitted but before a program's non-refundable date.
  • All tuition and fees paid except the camp deposit will be refunded.
• Withdrawal after the non-refundable date for your camp program:
  • No tuition refund will be given, regardless of circumstance.
    • The Non-refundable Date for Day Camps is Friday, May 1, 2026.
    • The Non-refundable Date for Sports Camps and Discovery Camps is Monday, June 1, 2026.
  • Fees for pre-paid Bus Service, Extended Day, Lunch, or Merchandise will be refunded in full when cancelled before service begins.
• Tuition payments forfeited due to withdrawal from a program will not be credited to any other current or future Creative Summer program nor transferred to the account of a sibling or other family member.

These refund deadlines are firm; no exceptions will be made.

Emergency Closure Notification
Any unexpected camp closures will be posted on the Holton-Arms website and on a recorded message on the Creative Summer office phone line at 301-365-6003.

Weather Closure Policy
In the event the Holton-Arms School administration deems it necessary or is required to close the School’s premises because of inclement weather or other circumstances beyond its control, Creative Summer cannot guarantee the make-up of lost time. Though we may schedule make-up hours where possible, camp time lost may be void. No refunds or credits will be issued in the event of a weather or other uncontrollable event or closure.

Eligibility to register during a Priority Period is based on factors including, but not limited to, prior attendance at or application to Creative Summer, current or prior attendance at Holton-Arms School, employment at Creative Summer or Holton-Arms School, or residence in Zip Code 20817. Priority registration eligibility requirements are outlined in detail below the schedule. These eligibility requirements may change from year to year.

If your family meets one or more Priority Registration eligibility requirements as defined below, you may request a Priority Registration link through an inquiry form or by email.

Requests for the Priority 2 link must be received by 12 noon Wednesday, January 7. We cannot guarantee that the link will be emailed in time for the start of registration at 7 p.m. for requests received after 12 noon on January 7.

Registrations submitted during any Priority Period by a family who does not meet the eligibility requirement(s) for that period will be cancelled without notice.

Once General Registration opens, all registrations are given equal consideration and processed in the order they are received.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WAITLIST PRIORITY FOR 2027

Due to the unprecedented number of registrations received in 2026, Creative Summer must limit the number of wait-listed camper families eligible for Priority Registration in 2027.

Registration priority will be granted only to the first 100 campers waitlisted for each session of Creative Campers.

Registration priority will be granted only to the first 30 campers waitlisted for each session of Junior Campers with Swim, and only to the first 8 campers waitlisted for each session of Junior Campers without Swim.
