Refund Policies

Tuition Refund Policy
Parents must inform our office in writing if they are withdrawing their child from any Creative Summer program. E-mail notification is acceptable. All deposits become non-refundable three days after registration is submitted. Tuition is refunded according to the following schedule:

  • Withdrawal on or before Thursday April 16, 2020: All tuition refunded except $150 deposit.
  • Tuition becomes non-refundable after Thursday, April 16, 2020 regardless of circumstance.

Extended Day/Bus Refund Policy
Pre-paid Extended Day and bus service are fully refundable if cancelled before the first day of scheduled service.

  • For bus service, cancellation should occur by Sunday before each session begins.
  • For weekly pre-paid Extended Day (a.m. or p.m.), cancellation should occur by Sunday before each week begins.
  • For daily Afternoon Extended Day, cancellation should occur the day before (not the day of) scheduled attendance.

If cancelled on the first scheduled day of service or later, refunds for Extended Day and/or bus service will be prorated to the day after notice of cancellation, and service already used will be charged at the drop-in rate. - $10 per ride for bus; $10 per hour for Extended Day.

Administrative Fee
If a camp withdrawal qualifies for a refund that includes the $150 camp deposit, an administrative fee of three percent (3%) of any balance paid in excess of $150 will be deducted from the refund to cover the cost of credit card processing.

Online Registration System

Creative Summer has used CampBrain for all online camp registrations, camp option purchases, email communication, and Tax Statements. since summer 2018.


A $150 deposit per camper, per session, is due at the time of registration. This deposit will be applied to your final balance due. Creative Summer accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover; we DO NOT accept American Express. The deposit cannot be paid by check. All deposits become non-refundable three days after registration is submitted.

Tuition balances for all programs are due Monday, March 16, 2020.

Final Balance

Tuition must be paid in full by Monday, March 16, 2020.

Wait-list Process

Each Creative Summer program has a limited number of spaces available in each camp session. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If a program fills, we will begin a wait-list for that section.

If space becomes available in a program with a wait-list, we will contact wait-listed families by phone and email in the order their wait-list requests were received. Once email notification has been sent, they will have three calendar days to accept the available space. If the deposit and required forms are not received within three days, space may be offered to the next family on the wait-list.

Creative Summer reserves the right to stop accepting wait-list requests for any program.

Wait-listed families who do not ultimately register for Creative Summer 2020, even if space is offered, will receive registration priority for Creative Summer 2021.

Creative Campers Class Selection

During the initial registration period (December 2019 through April 2020), families register for the specific program their camper will attend: Creative Kids (ages 4-7) or Creative Campers (ages 7-13). All Creative Kids programs (Creative 4s, 5s, 6s, and 7s) have pre-set schedules. The Creative Campers program (ages 7-13) allows campers to select their choice of activities.

The Creative Campers day is divided into five class periods. Families select one activity for each class period in a session during Creative Campers Class Selection, which takes place online from April 28 through May 6, 2020.

Each Creative Camper Color Group will have registration priority on a specific day, beginning with Purples (grades 7-8) and ending with Oranges (grade 2). The menu of classes showing the period each class is offered will be emailed to all Creative Campers families no later than April 10.

Grades 7-8 (Purples) select from 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 29.
Grade 6 (Blues) select from 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 30.
Grade 5 (Reds) select from 7 p.m. Thursday, April 30, to 5 p.m. Friday, May 1.
Grade 4 (Greens) select from 7 p.m. Monday, May 4, to 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 5.
Grade 3 (Yellows) select from 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 6.
Grade 2 (Oranges) select from 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 7.

Specific Class availability is not guaranteed and therefore not grounds for camper withdrawal.

Once camp begins, campers may change their class choices on Schedule Change Days, the second and third days of camp session.

¹Returning families have had at least one child attend Creative Summer within the last five summers (2015 through 2019). Returning Family status extends to siblings even if they were not the family member who attended Creative Summer.

²Priority families include families of current Holton-Arms students, current Holton-Arms faculty and staff, Holton-Arms Alumnae, Holton-Arms Board Members, Creative Summer 2020 staff, residents of Zip Code 20817, and families who were wait-listed for Creative Summer 2019.
